Music From Stanley begins its 5th year
Music from Stanley is a concert series featuring Idaho musicians at Redfish Lake Lodge
Concert recordings to be aired in radio series on KBSU and KISU in fall
Stanley and Boise, ID − Music from Stanley features some of Idaho’s best musicians in a live
setting and on the radio. Music from Stanley consists of: 1) A series of free concerts that take
place on Sunday afternoons from 4-8 PM June 14th through September 6th, at Redfish Lake
Lodge near Stanley, Idaho. 2) A radio show series that airs on KBSU and KISU in the fall. The
radio shows are comprised of concert audio, commentary, and interview segments with the
artists

June 14- David Olney and Sergio Webb
June 21- Night Genes w/ Steve Meyer
June 28- Blind Driver
July 5- James Dean Kindle and the East Oregon Playboys w/ Thomas Paul
July 12- Carrie Rodriguez w/ Bearfoot
July 19- Ben Bedford
July 26- Gizzard Stone w/ James Coberly Smith
August 2- Charley Jenkins w/ Shoemaker Brothers
August 9- Johnny Shoes and Kayleigh Jace
August 16- Poke
August 23- A Seasonal Disguise
August 30- Belle of Les Bois w/ Neo Tundra Cowboy
Sept 6- Bill Coffey w/ friends
All of these artists are exceptional. David Olney’s songs have been covered by Johnny Cash,
Steve Earle and Emmylou Harris. Carrie Rodriguez was recently featured on Austin City Limits
and has toured with Lucinda Williams. Rodriguez will also be touring with John Prine this fall.
Bluegrass band Bearfoot is a past Telluride Bluegrass Band Champion—an award they share
with the Dixie Chicks and Nickel Creek.
