Ski Report December 9th
In case you were wondering how the skiing is at the Alturas Lake or Park Creek ski areas, we are sad to report that as of Dec. 9th, 2009, the Sawtooth Valley rests firmly in the grip of a cold snap with early morning temperatures around 20 degrees below zero and very little snow accumulation on the ground. With sagebrush dominating the landscape, grooming of trails cannot really begin until another major snowstorm passes this way. We are poised to spring into action at that time and will get back to you as soon as we have something more positive to report.
