Alturas Lake Ski Area 1/28/10
Thursday, the 28th of January, dawned gloriously in the Sawtooth Valley with bright blue skies and sparkling snow promising a most excellent day for skiing at the Alturas Lake Ski Area. All trails were rolled for skating on Wednesday with new classic tracks set on Sheep Thrills, Over the Hill, South Loop and the Trail to the Lake. Yesterday’s warm temperatures have been replaced by somewhat cooler conditions… at 8:30 a.m. the temperature was only a few degrees above zero.
