Alturas Lake Ski Report, Wed. 1/13/10
On Wednesday, the 13th of January, at 8:30 a.m., a steady snow was falling on the Sawtooth Valley and the temperature was 27 degrees above zero. The trails at Alturas Lake were rolled yesterday and looked good at that time but since then, accumulating snow and wind blown drifting has no doubt covered many areas of the trail. We are going to roll the trail again today, but until this storm ends, expect snowy, drifting, shifting and stormy conditions along the trails.
