Alturas 2/7/10
Sunday, the 7th day of February, promises to be a memorable ski experience for those visiting the Alturas Lake ski area. The trails were groomed and looking very nice yesterday morning and will be touched up with additional grooming at midday today. The temperature at 7200 ft. in the upper Sawtooth Valley was 0 degrees at 9 a.m. under an open sunny sky while a sea of fog lingered over the lower valley and Stanley.
