ALTURAS SKI TRAILS

In the upper Sawtooth Valley, the temperature was 29 degrees and snow was falling from a grey sky at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, the third day March. Trails at Alturas Lake were groomed on Monday and Tuesday, back when sun and blue skies were the rule. The trails were firm, flat and fast at that time. Grooming will take place on Thursday once again to prepare for this weekend’s Sawtooth Ski Festival, promising fine trails for both the classic and skate ski enthusiast.
