March 3, 2010 Snowmobile Report

Hey Sled-Heads!  Not too much going on in the way of weather up in these parts.  It’s been unseasonably warm, leading to decreasing snow levels, but the trails are groomed and there is great trail riding still available.  Keep those fingers crossed and send happy vibes ‘ol Mother Nature’s way – let’s see some more white stuff!  We had a dusting of snow fall last night, but the weather report doesn’t look too promising.  There’s about a 50% chance we’ll see more snow today and tonight with about a 70% chance for tomorrow.  If you’re hanging up your snowmobile gear for the season, come and watch Stanley’s 1st Annual Sled Dog Rendezvous next weekend, March 13 & 14.  There will be multiple dog sled teams competing in a 40 mile, 20 mile, 8 mile sprint, and 4 mile sprint races.  Promises to be exciting and something new!  Hope to see you here!  Happy Trails!!
