Highway Update – 11/22/10!
I just received an email in the City Office from ITD stating that Highway 21 between Banner Summit and Grandjean (between the gates) is closed due to avalanche mitigation work. Crews will begin working early tomorrow morning due to the recent heavy snowfall. No word yet on how long the work will take. The office will be closed over the Thanksgiving holiday, so check with the ITD website at www.itd.idaho.gov for current updates on the highway conditions. Safe Travels!
