Sawtooth Ski Trails not good!
Sorry, but during this ongoing storm cycle, temperatures ranging from 32 to 38 degrees have made trail grooming impossible at the Alturas Lake and Park Creek ski areas. Until we get some sustained low temperatures to freeze things solid again, expect to find 3 to 10 inches of ungroomed wet glommy snow on top of a totally rotten base. Sadly, this is no joke… we do not recommend skiing at either Sawtooth Valley ski area at this time….
