Ski trails groomed for skate and classic
All trails at Park Creek are open! Conditions on lupine, camas, shooting star and sego are good, with fresh skating lanes and classic track. Sky rocket is improving, although still soft. Larkspur is just packed and rolled today, so is very soft, and recommended for touring only.
At the Alturas Lake ski area all trails except for North Cabin Creek and the last little loop on Sheep Thrills are groomed for skating and classic and looking very good.
We think the skiing should be outstanding for the next few days with the temperature mostly cold and the sky totally blue.
