Grey ski day in the sawtooths

Tuesday, the 10th of January is a rather grey day in the Sawtooth Valley with the monotone sky spitting a few snowflakes groundward. The ski trails at Park Creek are our recommendation of the day where all trails are groomed and skiers have reported excellent adventures. At Alturas Lake the groomer, laid low by the latest wave of Ketchum crud to hit the valley, has discovered it impossible to groom and blow his nose at the same time. The trails there are certainly skiable… just a bit worn and not up to their usual high quality. Hopefully, a speedy recovery will lead to improvements in the next days. Gesundheit!
