Clear blue skies, nice ski trails
With continuing clear blue skies and sunshine, expect temperatures to remain below freezing for the whole day at the Alturas Lake and Park Creek ski areas. Trails at both areas have firmed up for the most part with some soft shoulders and squeeky cold snow in the morning.
At Alturas lake on Sunday, the skate lanes on the Trail to the Lake, Over the Hill and North Cabin Creek were all touched up. Classic grooves were reported to be good.
