SKI TRAILS GREAT
At 9 a.m. on Friday, the 17th of February, the temperature was around 15 degrees at the Alturas Lake ski area. The skating lanes on all trails were touched up on Thursday and looked really really good. Classic tracks course along all the Alturas trails at this time and while a bit old, shaky in spots and punctuated by paw prints. they do appear to be “good to go”. All trails at Park Creek, out in the picturesque Stanley Basin, were groomed on Wednesday for skate and classic and were reportedly looking very nice.
