Snow flurries dump on ski trails…
All the ski trails at Alturas, except for North Cabin, were groomed for skate and classic on Saturday. Snow flurries during the day shifted from medium heavy to blizzard like white outs with accumulations of 6-8 inches of new snow. So even freshly groomed trails soon lost their corduroy and classic grooves as they merged back into the snowscape. More grooming is scheduled for Sunday there to clean up and restore some geometric order
