‘Glow in the Dark’ Beach Party Parade

Drink and dance your way through Stanley during the ‘Glow in the Dark’ Beach Party Parade. Get creative with glow in the dark clothes, makeup, body art and glow sticks. We dare you to glow brighter than the stars in the dark sky reserve over Stanley!

This social tour lets you chill with friends, meet other revelers and dine at local restaurants while quenching your thirst. The best part of Stanley being a small mountain town is you only have to walk (or crawl) 0.5 miles from first drink to last call.

The party parade starts at 7pm.

  • Stanley Sluice – serving ale and wine plus traditional pub fare, mountain town fusion and traditional entrees.
  • Papa Brunees – enjoy beer and wine with appetizers, burgers, wraps, sandwiches and cheesesteaks. Or try their mouthwatering specialty pizzas like Sawtooth Special, Bullfighter, Strained Oink or Thai Me Up.
  • Kasino Club – a full bar with all drinks at Happy Hour price (it’s true, ask Graham!) while Shauna’s dinner menu will surely tantalize your taste buds.
  • Mountain Village Saloon – the parade stops here at the beach party! Break out your swimsuits, tropical shirts, cut-off shorts and floppy sunhats for an unforgettable night of drinking and dancing to party music.

Saturday

Ski Plane Fly-in

The only ski plane fly-in in the Pacific Northwest happens in Stanley! Beginning Saturday morning, these seasoned pilots will fly in from all over the United States to grace the Stanley runway. Watch the Cessna and Husky airplanes take off and land at the Stanley airport. Yes, there really is an airport in Stanley! Pilots love talking about their airplanes so this is your chance to rub elbows with them. If you smile and ask real nice, they may even take you for a ride. How cool would that be?

Stanley School of Rock

The Stanley kids have a musical treat for all of us! Twelve talented kids from the Stanley school (grades K-8) are kicking off the Street Dance. After practicing all week long, they will be ready to belt out songs that cover a wide-range of genres. They’ll mix it up with drums, electrical guitar, bass, keyboard and classical guitar. In past years, they even wrote their own songs. Will they do it again this year? Find out at the Winterfest!

Street Dance

New Transit and Aaron Einhouse will share the street dance stage after the Stanley School of Rock. The electrifying energy of these bands and the Sawtooth Mountains will make you want to dance the day away.

New Transit has been entertaining fans since 2009 and they are ready to make you fans too! “Their vibe is both distinctly Americana and quintessentially Idaho, not just in sound but in skill.” They play mainly original material from their three albums plus a few covers too. Here's their music video ' Sunny Day '.
