ALTURAS LAKE 2/11/2010
On Thursday, the 11th of February, a partly cloudy sky aglow in shades of blue sets the morning mood in the upper Sawtooth Valley. A relatively warm 14 degrees was recorded at 8 a.m. at 7,200 feet. The trails at Alturas Lake have been looking great with grooming scheduled for midday today to erase skate marks, pole plants and animal prints, leaving behind only combed corduroy and new classic grooves.

Sunday, the 7th day of February, promises to be a memorable ski experience for those visiting the Alturas Lake ski area.
