Recurring Events

Every Friday, 10:30 am  Story Time at the Stanley Community Library. For kids ages 0-7 (parents of kids ages 3 and under must accompany their kids).
Third Friday of every month, Casey the Librarianator will host Family Game Night.  Some board games and Wii games will be provided.  Please bring your own snacks and drinks.
First Friday of every month throughout the winter, Becky Mitchell will host “Movie Night at the Stanley School”, at 6:30pm. Popcorn will be provided! Please note: Every child must have a parent or other adult there to supervise them.
Every 1st and 3rd Thursday, beginning in January, Celina Moreno and Barbara Garcia will lead a conversational Spanish group.  This group is open to all Spanish skill levels, it is a casual, fun way to practice the basics of Spanish.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2012, FAMILY SNOWSHOE

The Sawtooth National Recreation Area Headquarters will offer a snowshoe trek for the whole family – learning about winter ecology and animal tracking, fun snow activities, and exploring at a slower pace. Meet in front of the Visitor Center parking lot at 11:00am. Tours are free to children 12 and under, and a limited number of adult and children’s snowshoes will be available. Be sure to register as soon as possible to ensure a spot on the tour, and reserve your snowshoes, if needed. Children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult. The tours will last about one hour and go for about 3/4 to 1 mile. For more information and to register, call the SNRA at 208-727-5013.
