8th Annual Sawtooth Ski Festival March 6th-7th

The Sawtooth Ski Club’s 8th annual Sawtooth Ski Festival, March 6 and 7, 2010,  promises nordic fun, epicurean delights, good fellowship and bargains galore!  Saturday at Park Creek Ski Area, enjoy the ever popular ski or snowshoe Poker Run at 11:00 am,  feast on great homemade chili at noon, sled with the kids, share the incredible ski trail system while gazing at awesome Sawtooth Mountain Views!
Saturday night, at the Stanley Community Center, volunteers will present a delicious, home cooked meal, Dave Muscavage will serenade us all as silent auction bidders keep the action lively. It’s quite the Party!  Sunday, starting at 11:00 am, come to the Alturas Lake Ski Area, follow the signs to the Soup Kitchen Social.  Ski the trails that take you to Alturas Lake or North Cabin Creek ridges, all of the trails offer a wonderful ski experience!  This is our only fund raising event of the year, so come and enjoy the festivities, volunteer to cook or serve, provide a silent auction item.  Call Karen at 774-3487 with any ideas, offers of help or items for the auction, or questions. Money raised at the Festival  goes toward purchasing gas and oil for the snowmobiles, grooming machines and equipment, and other necessities of the ski club.
